And let google have control of sensitive company data?? I don't think so!

Google Desktop: no data resides with google... though gmail data certainly resides with google. I would need to read the EUA. :)

Bah, Google has done quite a bit of questionable stuff if you know where to look. For instance they like manipulating the rankings of their competition in searches (there was even a court case about it recently).

I'd be seriously worried about privacy when using this stuff, too.
 
Good idea google but noooo thanks! I prefer my data behinde a 5mm steel door, which it is! :D
