Google Talk losing connection

Are u using a proxy server, I hav GTalk on my pc and it works fine(direct connection). My brother connects via proxy (ccproxy) & it keeps disconnecting.

it seems MXit simply can't handle the load of all the teens+ although apparently more stable of late.

Well. It's actually something a recent problem with the Jabber protocol between Gtalk and Mxit. Mxit uses it's own protocol, to reduce the header size, and I think somewhere along the lines, the messages are getting lost in translation...

But yea, those teens...

It all started with teens+ ...

I, <cough> have it on my cell too, just never use it, I can think of far better things to do than wait the 30minutes, of reconnecting carp to get logged in, fring does the trick for me.
 
Well. I chat to my GF on it. It's alot cheaper than SMS.
If its available, why not use it?
Plus I'm not a big fan of actauly talking on phones :D
