Google to kill Buzz service

Google is getting ready to press the mute button on its much-maligned Buzz service.

Hmmm, Google Plus doesn't seem to be much more active from my side. Wonder how long until they kill that as well?

G+ is active on my side...I've even been doing the "look at hot random females" thing

It has already been disabled from mobile maps for a few months now. All happened veeery quiet.

Buzz is not very useful... Plus also doesn't offer enough to switch from established social media sites...

But I prefer to use twitter rather.

"Google+ is now open to everyone and we just passed the 40 million user mark. People are flocking into Google+ at an incredible rate and we are just getting started!" You must start talking in circles!

Google should rather focus on what they're good at. They're not good at following something that's as well established as Twitter(What did Buzz bring to the table that Twitter did not? Not enough to convince people to move anyway). Search was s**t, then google came and made it great. Mail was annoying to manage, but then came gMail. They should stick to that formula. If the improvement they bring isn't as drastic as Google search or gMail, then there isn't much point for them to invest. People won't move for one or two mediocre features
