Google unveils satellite map feature

I played with it yesterday! Very nice. Check out the detail with their superemposed indicators. They throw shadows! How cool! Sorry, these things make me happy.

They make me happy too - but it's only for N.America, which I know nothing about - I was kinda hoping to zoom in on a few buddies houses - heck, to zoom in on where I live and wave out the window - and maybe six months later see myself waving out of the window on the Google map site ...
