Anyone own one of these? What's you views? I'm looking at the DSLR Zoom version to add to my kit.

Get the biggest you can afford. :)

Currently I have a 550D with the twin lens bundle, I also have a Manfroto tripod from my old SONY PD150 days, so the GorillaPOD is just a back up :) and easier to travel with :)

Managed to pick up a GorillaPOD SLR ZOOM (in eco friendly packaging) for R439 today :) but ended up spending more on ND filters, Polarizing filters, lens hoods etc :) but still a deal in the end!

The same store has a GorillaPOD FOCUS, selling for R1300, I hid it at the back of the rack and will pick it up this weekend :)

MOAR!!!! :D That's why I'm not allowed into any camera shops anymore. I "pop" in for some AA batteries and come out with a new point 'n shoot, filters, bags, flashes, lenses, etc etc. I just can't help myself.

:) I did the same again this morning. Logged onto ORMS.CO.ZA to order "just" a battery grip for my 550D and ended up ordering other bits and pieces as well.

How much did that come to? I need one for a used 40D I'm thinking of buying.

My goods from ORMS arrived this afternoon! Very impressed with their service and delivery time! Considering it was sent from CPt last night at +-5:45pm and was at my local P.O. midday today :) The extended battery grip makes the world of difference to the 550D, now it feels like the 7D it strives too be :)
