Got C#? Aussie Startup looking for SA Developer #2

Lets just say that no one we have hired in SA has gone backwards in terms of salary from their previous positions.

Do you guys make use of contractors or do you prefer to pay a set salary for 40 hours of work etc?

You only looking for developers? If I can get a job where I can telecommute the every day I might even take a small pay cut!

I'll consider moving to DBN if you pay me an Aus market related salary (I mean it's bloody DBN, a career dead end)

I too am interested in the AUD$100,000 salary that has been advertised.

We're looking for people in SA because the timezone is ideal and I'm originally from Durban, so the country is familiar.

As a distributed company, we don't have any need to migrate people since we don't have a central office as such - timezone is more important than location at this point.

Also to avoid any broken hearts, the upper limit of R100k a month was a joking response to someone that clearly predicates their decision making on how much money they stand to make.
If your primary reason for wanting to join Appenate is a pay rise, we're not a good fit.
You would be best suited looking at the other job ads (especially those that start with numeric listing codes, seems those guys really care about who they hire).

We want people with more in their vision than dollar signs.

Or how much money they stand to lose? I'm overseas now, but if I had to move back to SA for a while (always at the back of my mind for family reasons), I would not work for R100k a month - I can work remotely (for an overseas company) or contract for many times that. So that upper limit of R100k/m is really good to know. I'm also pretty sure that there are also several people on this board who already earn more than that. As awesome as a company's culture may be, taking a pay cut for personal gratification is often a sacrifice people don't want to impose on their families.
