Got contract... want to have add-on data bundle...

Hi

I got a running contract with CellC.

Will the following be possible?

1. Add a 1Gb (or more) data bundle to said existing contract? (Yay for CellC giving us cheap bandwidth! :love:)
2. Make this a hard-capped data bundle? (Meaning that once the data is up, I can't use any more - and hence avoid OOB charges), BUT leaving voice and SMS'es to still continue.

Thanks for the reply.

Unfortunately I was hoping for a promo bundle. :)

Will think things over, whether I really need it or not. Also if employer is willing to pay.

Hi cell c I have ported my line to cell c and will be on active chat. I was told that I can ad smart data bundles on the contract by the agent and just wanted to confirm this with you. Also I ported my autopage number to you on tuesday at 2pm and was told port would take place in 24 hours and I'm still waiting for this......this isn't normal is it?

I'm sure Cell_C will respond to you but I thought I'd add my experience since I went through the process of porting.

It definitely isn't normal. I ported my number last year and it took slightly less than 24 hours in my case, they do say it takes 24 hours though.

Did you contact customer care regarding the problem?

I also recently ported my number to Cell C and it took less than 24 hours.

But to the topic of the thread: I was just as disappointed to find out that you can't get the cheap data on your phone. The Smart Data addon is R25 for 50MB, which works out to quite a bit. Must say, I expected more from Cell C in terms of product flexibility :(

Yea well it eventually got done because of an error on Autopage side as Cell C was picking up my number as MTN SP and not autopage I had to ask cell c to send Autopage a screen dump of their confirmation page what a hassle...but it was done before last weekend and glad to be off autocage

You can add a data bundle package to your account.
Just cant add the promo data to your account.
