Got the iPhone at the launch@Vodaworld!

I see there is now a prominent 1 year warranty sticker on the box. Vodacom wanted to offer a 2 year warranty, but Apple said no!
 
Cellular operator MTN has announced that it is launching the iPhone 4 in SA, as it enters turf dominated by Vodacom in recent years.

He said that the iPhone 4 would be offered only on contract packages.

"We are offering the iPhone on contract basis only because the price is steep on prepaid.

With a 150MB internet bundle, it's R379 per month."

Vodacom has made the phone available on prepaid, starting at R7 800 for the 16GB version.

now the question is when the hell is cape town getting stock .... i called around today and nobody knows ANYTHING .
 
I received this email from Digicape today:

We will officially be stocking the iPhone 4’s retailing at:

32GB – R8899 incl vat.


Stock will be arriving in batches (quantities are not confirmed at this stage) for which we will fulfil back orders accordingly.

Kindly advise if you’d like to go ahead and specify for which model as well.
