Cellular operator MTN has announced that it is launching the iPhone 4 in SA, as it enters turf dominated by Vodacom in recent years.
He said that the iPhone 4 would be offered only on contract packages.
"We are offering the iPhone on contract basis only because the price is steep on prepaid.
With a 150MB internet bundle, it's R379 per month."
Vodacom has made the phone available on prepaid, starting at R7 800 for the 16GB version.

OK, so a few guys at work just drove to Vodaworld and came back with 4 16GB's, bought cash ... R6268 each. I've cut up their SIM's for them ... all fine.
According to News24 it's R7800 for the 16GB?
