Not for a person that was always forced to buy the more expensive all networks data. For them the new data prices are awesome. Or the people that are on contract but never had Telkom coverage and was forced to either pay the expensive all network data rates switch mobile data off.

For the people making use of the Telkom only bundles its is punch in the gut of note.

I am saying Bundu is wrong.

I'm on the 10+10GB R199 contract - I never use the 2nd 10GB - you can't equate nite saver to normal data

Even with that silly metric, its more expensive because you get 10GB less or is 16.7% less nothing?

Did you also go "meh - apples and oranges" when All Gold tomato sauce was suddenly R13.99 for a 700ml bottle, where is used to be R13.99 for a 750ml bottle. They should have just increased the bloody price instead of trying to hide it.

I also have the 10+10GB R199 contract, 500MB left on the normal portion and 5GB left on night saver.

I'm on the 60 + 60 and make use of ALL of my post midnight data. As stated originally, I am facing a more than 100% price increase.

I previously had 10GB for R199, renewed the contract and got 10+10GB for R199 - I use data only during the day - did I get more data that I can use normally? NO! geddit?

Me too, so what? Some month I don't even use either of the 10GBs.

Answer this, you will be happy if they turn that 10GB+10GB into just 8GB for R199?

No, you have to answer my question because you don't get that people got 60Gb for a price... now they getting 50GB for that same price. Using your idea of excluding the midnight data.

of course I understand that 50 is less than 60, but my 1st comment was that it's not a 100% price increase..... do you understand that midnight data is not equal to day time data? if you grasp that, you will understand that the 60+60 was not increased by 100%, hence the apples.... oranges comment - take your time

Now that we got that out of they way.

There are people who use it all, for them it is 100%.

Do you like milk? I don't drink milk. Lets remove it from the market since I don't drink it, shelf space in supermarkets can go to something I do buy and always seems to run low in stock on the shelves (SuperJuice for example).

Just because you don't know how to and want to download content overnight, doesn't mean others don't know how or don't want to.

We are just lucky to be on that contract or else it might have well changed to 8GB overall for R199 or similar...

Those of us that use it can. Even if you didn't use it the new bundles are mostly more expensive. The only people really benefiting from this are the people who don't have Telkom coverage.

I have been using 60gb+60gb for a few years now, I use it all.
For me its 100%

How day and night data differs in your mind means sweet f'all to me who will, if I choose to stay, be subjected to less than half the amount of usable data for the same amount of money.

More telkom/eskom/e-toll/government maffs at work here is all.

This sucks! From R999 for 25+25gigs to R899 for 20gigs? Definitely going back to cell c. Only reason I have a telkom mobile sim was cos of that package. At least ill be able to receive calls when im not at home. I put up with their ****ty call signal for the great data packages but im out.
No idea what cell c costs for bundles but im not gonna keep supporting telkom when the cost of a bundle has doubled!
I like how they made the message seem positive lol.
Anyway those of you who had crappy telkom reception or didnt use your night bundles congrats, its good news for you guys.
