Got this SMS from 8ta? Anyone else get it?

Wish that 50GB came in the 4.16GB per month format. 1GB per month deal for R499 is just not enough for a 11yo's youtube on tablet habit lol
 
Wish they Could invest in better, proper coverage...
 
Let's wait until Sunday before jumping to conclusion. If they going to unveil these prices on Sunday. Unfortunately I will go my separate way with Telkom Mobile when ir comes to data.

I can't confirm this yet as the website seems to still being updated but that can actually be a good thing for people that don't fall in Telkom mobile coverage as they will have decent data deals.

Good for the people that can't get decent TM coverage yes. Wondering what's going to happen with that as it's sim locked. Not good for people like me that relied on the night data. Would get 120GB with 60GB anytime data. Now it's just 50GB for the same price. Guess they have to make up the price they're paying to MTN but at least give us a choice then.
 
Not so happy with these new prices. I hope they don't change the bundle validity period. If they make it 30 days like Vodascum, then I'm gone.

Edit - It seems they're not changing it. Lucky move, Telkom. Lucky move.


Is it just me, or are those cost/MB prices incorrect? Maybe my math brain has shut down (and it isn't very good anyway, lol), but how does R99/1GB come to 18c/MB?

I still have quite a bit of data to use on my existing 60+60 package (valid until 31 January 2016)!! Hopefully nothing will change with existing packages and I will be able to continue using it until it expires.

Correct. Data will be combined most probably. Unless they bringing higher caps to the table.
 
What is happening to existing users on the Promo 5 deal?.
 
R200 for 3GB isn't bad, but, still they're ripping us off big time. I'd say.
 
i use a 60+60 once a month, so, my data is getting cut in half for the same amount?

I've just renewed my 10+10GB for R199/mnth - I hope they don't mess around with that.....
 
Was also using the 2 + 1 and I was hoping to buy the 60 + 60 this month end. ****! I guess I should start looking else were because the 3gigs anytime for R199 is not a better deal than the previous. Again, just 50Gigs for the same price as 60 + 60, rip-off!
