Hi!

I have been using my PC,laptop and phone to connect via GPRS to the internet for a few months now. I have a 6230i and buy a data bundle on prepaid.

If I swop my phone for a 3G phone (i welcome suggestions) will I be able to connect over 3G and have a much faster connection?

I live close to Durban central so I do have coverage.

Please help - asap.

thanks for the prompt reply.

will try it out and see the speed difference before i swop my phone.

Try this..a 3G pcmcia data card..

I used to also use my cell [eats the battery though!] Now I use a Vodafone 3G /gprs data card in my laptop..I can send sms`s from it and it is really easy to set up and use..and it runs off the laptops battery.
I have a brand new one in sealed pack, unlocked to use any sim..R1200 if interested 0837774225 .I am in toti..
Regards,
Hotel9

if you have any friends that have 3g phones/cards, maybe ask them to come over so you can test whether you really do have 3g coverage, just to be safe... ;)
