GPRS and EDGE settings for iPhone

i just recently got the new iphone 3G 16GB and have a contract with vodacom. pleas tell me how to activate my GPRS. i have tried to look in SETTINGS for the so called APN settings you guys are talking about but nowhere does it say that. In SETTINGS>GENERAL>NETWORKS there is only vpn and wi-fi settings... please help

Settings, General, Network, Cellular Data Network (first option)


APN must be "internet" or "iphone.vodacom.za" ,whichever works for you

Just call 111 or 155 and ask them to activate the iphone APN. I had to do this too, I don't know why this isn't done as part of the process of taking out an iphone contract.
