Any news on the above? Far as i can see, they hav'nt even got a clue to WHAT the cause my be...let alone fix it :(
 
Restart plan..wow sounds big! My MtN internet seems to be working just that it's a very sleepy connection.....it works but if you dnt carry on sending data it just stops

Hi Dr DATA...Are you a MTN employee or just trying to figure the probs out? ( no pun intended ), cause MTN have my cell no but they can't sort it out ( so it seems )

I'm in Umkomaas (KZN south coast) with an 073 number, I've encountered some problems, but when I restart my phone GPRS usually reconnects (well I just switch it to flight mode and back). Problem continues until this morning, so clearly not sorted yet, but my GPRS connection has always returned after the restart, not the problem some of you have had. Glad to hear it's a network issue and not my phone.
 
Jipee...at f'n LAST.....my internet works ;)
I think MTN sorted this prob out...( at least on the 083 no's )
 
Friend in durban north has connecting problem (via mobile), says 'Error-request timed error' since Thursday.
