Tomorrow from approx 9am I shall ask support to start a trace on the Number. you can attempt to connect while you are there. Also supply he exact physical address of that location. You can PM me. We will look at the trace logs and see where the problem lies. Also PM me any area that it successfully connects in.

Hi Guys

I can test this issue anytime between 07:00 and 16:00 any day of the week. I can connect from one side of the building, but if I walk +-50m to the other side, I get nothing, so give me a shout if I can help. I'm in the Parktown area.
 
I'm having the same problem from FNB's BankCity, at the corner of Pritchard and Simmonds. I can usually connect before 7:00, but can't get anything going after that. Any help?

There might be issues at the site acording to the trace logs, we have escalated it to a higher level. Ill feedback in the morning again tomorrow.

We have evaluated the logs on the site for other traffic, all seems fine. Is it only when requesting a certain page or via a certain application or is the GPRS failing to connect all together to the network?

My connection seems to fail totally. Can't request any page at all. Although today it seems to be intermittent, as opposed to totally dead like normal
 
On another note, I had MTN here on Monday to check out the connection inside the building. The have decided to extend the one "mexican hat" to the centre of the building to help with the reception. This is the station I have no issues with.

GPRS fails altogether. After the reset you guys did, still same issue. This test was done 25 May 12h36 onwards. :-(
 
Could this be a failure on the device side of things? I just drove from Parktown to Fourways, and could not sync or open any web pages the entire drive??

Dr-Data, any news on this?

I have found another person in the same Troye/Main/Mooi location with a k-jam. He has the identical problem to myself. Everything worked fine until a few weeks ago. Since then, no GPRS connection at all. He has also tested it with a Vodacom card in the k-jam in the self-same locations, and everything works perfectly. Suggesting that it is not the k-jam, but MTN.
