Even if you got a module so far there isnt any turn by turn navigation for the iPhone. That will change with the release of 3.0 but that isnt until June anyway.

Mmmmm theres a few around, but you need to pair it via Bluetooth.
The iPhone can pair with a headset so it should work.

My 3g iPhone wont recognise my GPS dongle so maybe not? IIRC they're opening the dock connector up to developers for 3.0 so maybe something will come out of that?

Atm the iphone will only pair with headsets, and there aren't any turn-by-turn nav products for the iPhone.. yet... they'll come after 3.0 when they allow turn-by-turn access to the GPS core
