Yep, but it hardly uses much of a footprint data wise...
A small sacrifice for free maps... almost anywhere in the world at that. Just listening to all the other comments, it's a pain in the butt trying to find one package that will sort you out internationally - and this is when you really need it (maps).
Handymap for example is the same as mapking or papago or kingmap (by maction or something similar)...

For Nokia s60 phones, there is also Nokia Maps (free)

I wish Tomtom would sort out internal GPS support on the E90, Tomtom is great imho, but needing a external bluetooth GPS seems a tad dof. Guess I have for a new version to appear.

Yes. They have for example "Topographical and Recreational" street maps.

You use Garmin Mobile XT with "South African Streetmaps, Topo & Rec V1.5" which is rather expensive though (+-R2500) if you decide to go the legal route

Since it shipped with my P1 for free for 12 months I am currently using Wayfinder. You can get a lifetime subscription, with no need to download the maps. Does it as you drive, with a surprisingly low data cost.

Im am using GarminXT on my Nokia N95 and I am very happy with it including my UK voice navigation. I have SA city maps and POI (Points of interest) and speed camera warnings
