Juggy i am amazed this is still such a thing for you, your not going to game with it so go find a card for 1k and buy it.

Ja, just because he wants it and can afford it, but his reasons doesn't justify buying it, doesn't mean he shouldn't. It's like getting a car that can do 300km/h, you can't use it, because of the speed limit, but you can afford it and you want it, so then get it.

There are way better things in life to waste 1k on other than something you do not need
. Besides you'll get a crap score in vista with a 1k card anyhow.Now if you were to buy the nvidia 295 for 7k man that vista score would be amazing and you would be giving your baby the best.

Im with killadoob on this one. Buy a card that will that forfill your computer needs. Overkill for a GPU is just going to waste your money if you not gonna game.
If Vista is running fine (even though the rating is low) stick with what you got.

My head is just fine thanks, been almost 36 years and I haven't missed a day of my medication.
Maybe I will take up gaming, I had an XBox for social games but tossed it away when it broke 4 months out of warranty.
Anyone suggest a good starter game, preferably strategy?

Juggy - how about a nice game of Grid, i'm really enjoying it ATM and it should run ecto perfecto on your 8800.
Red alert 3 is apparently good. I'm waiting for Starcraft 2, as nothing will beat this.
