GPU help

Hi. I recently installed a used rx580 and this is what the sign in screen looks like. Could this be a sign of a bad gpu? I’ve used DDU to remove previous drivers and installed Radeon drivers. I also get weird lines when hovering over tab titles in chrome.

I suspect he used it to mine and flashed some ROM on it or played around the with the numbers. I suggest you contact the person you got it from and ask him to flash the original ROM if he still has it or obtain a new ROM from the vendor they give them out on forums mostly. If you still have issues after the ROM update then I suggest returning it and getting your money back.

Incorrect bios will not do this.

Incorrect bios will display but the driver won't install without atipatcher being loaded.

Try and reseat the gpu and check under device manager if the gpu is installed, it might be a bad gpu or connector.
