Grabit refuses to use 3g hotspot

so im thinking of cancelling my adsl in favour of 3g but this incompatibility is worrying me! anybody experienced this before?

Could you give some detail on your setup? How are you creating a 3g hotspot?

galaxy tab creates the hotspot. laptop connects and im able to surf. but as soon as i start grabit i cant create a connection to a server within grabit.
