Grade 1s try to stone teachers
2010-11-11 17:08

East London - Angry pupils at Mthambalale Primary School in Lusikisiki threw stones in the direction of teachers on Thursday after sports events and a party they were promised did not happen, Eastern Cape police said.

"About 600 pupils, from Grade 1 to Grade 7, toyi-toyied and threw stones at teachers who ran for their lives," said Captain Mduduzi Godlwana.

Police were called in.

"Pupils were forced out of the school because they were damaging property," he said.

No serious injuries were reported or arrests made. Police would monitor the premises on Friday, he said.

A case of malicious damage to property was opened.

Ok well maybe the next generation will shake apartheid. Obviously it is still bad because grade 1 pupils have not gotten over it yet either.

This must be the struggle Malema keeps talking about. Struggling to pick up stones as large as what the grade 7's are throwing. It all makes sense now.

nvm that is way to sadistic they are only grade 1 - 7s

but they could try throwing the stones back next time from behind cover.

That's just disturbing. I say they should bring back corporal punishment in schools - nothing like a fiery ass to make you behave yourelf!

Who said our education system is failing?

The teacher strikes taught them well !

Ah, yes. Brings back fond memories of my school days when we used to throw stones at our teachers...oh wait.

I totally agree. But you know the dreaded 'r' word will be yanked out at the first opportunity and we'll never hear the end of it.

Stones. That's nothing. That's some amateur sh|t. Go check out what the spoilt rich kids get up to in the private schools. Teachers don't bother running, they're too afraid. Like when approached by a lion or a bear, don't run, just stand absolutely still. beFCKNware
