I don't have any skin in this (GTA games have never appealed to me for whatever reason) but this kind of dishonesty illustrates what's wrong with the world today.

This ****** purposely took an old photo taken for an entirely different purpose to drive his agenda.

Sadly I never got into the sims.....original dos simlife, simants and simcity, that was an entirely different story. I played simcity for hours on end.

But I will say this much - the few pics I have seen look unbelievable.

And if there is so much hype, talk and debate months before its even been released....it's going to make the previous best-selling game of all time look like a midget in comparison.

But seriously though, there's a reason why the GTA series is so massive. Only reason I'm so hyped is because ever since the first game way back in 1997, every GTA (except for London) has been my #1 game for some time. So I know VI will be no different. GTA is imo the best video games series overall and I think many people feel the same.

IV and V are both still in my top 3 favourite games today, beaten only by Cyberpunk. Cyberpunk should enjoy the top spot while it lasts :)

As for Lara Croft doing amazing things, that's a fantasy game. Remember also that Lara did not get a pass from Anita Sarkeesian and other activists - saying she appeals to the male gaze and is hyper-sexualized. She is definitely a problematic character for them.

In a game meant to be gritty and in some way based on realism, making the protag male the fairer and gentler sex seems to be counter core aspects of reality.

There are different genres of games and of movies. In an anime game, we could expect women to kick butt. But we rarely see this in Hollywood like games.

Look you are more than welcome to like the game. One thing has to be said that discussions are not mere discussions of positives but should be open to all forms of criticism, positive and negative. This thread is not called the GTA6 Appreciation thread. :)

I already said that criticism of the game based on the material released by the developers/publisher is fine. That's their top material. It's fine to criticise the game, as that's what they think is representative of the game. It's possible the game will be completely different. Nobody is saying this is the final product but that goes without saying.

Think my first computer game was Pacman on a cafe arcade system in 1983 or such. Back in a time when cafes were mostly operated by Portuguese guys.

And Jason will be able to do things like that as well. This is GTA. Or do you think that Jason won't be able to fight, or win a fight, or mess around with strippers etc?

It's not as if Jason and Lucia will be together 24/7. Jason can do his own thing away from her. And Lucia can also mess around with strippers.

Jason and Lucia is inspired by Bonnie and Clyde. A real couple that robbed gas stations, stores and got involved in shootouts etc. The story of Jason and Lucia is inspired by reality.

But GTAVI is still at the end of the day just a game like every other GTA. There is nothing "realistic" about what any of the main characters did in past GTAs, Lucia will be no different.

Women have been kicking butt in GTA since GTAIII. This is just the first time we'll get to play as one. Women have been kicking butt in games for decades, Lucia is nothing new or rare.

I know who Bonnie and Clyde were. But Clyde was not a cuck in that relationship.

Note that Clyde was the shooter and muscle in real life in that gang.

It's not realistic in the sense that once cops have you, you go to prison for life or you get shot and die after one bullet. It is realistic in that you don't possess superhuman strength, ESPER powers, magic and sci-fi from Cyberpunk.

Again, Jason can be that too. Unless you're gonna choose to play as Lucia every time. Jason is not going to be useless.

No she's not. That's something you made up in your mind after watching some loser's opinions on youtube.

Play as Jason and he will be strong unless you suck at gaming. Play as Lucia and she will be strong. Jason can lose in a fight and Lucia can lose in a fight.

Lucia has a martial arts background whereas Jason is a brawler and the muscle of the duo. Obviously they will have two different fighting styles. Both can win, both can lose, depends entirely on your own gaming skills.

The actress behind Lucia is a martial artist and gym rat herself.
