Does anybody know how to setup the Grandstream HT812 ATA for MWEB talk? I have sort of got it working. I am able to make calls to it, but I cannot make calls from it...for a while. Last night it just started to ring continuously... anybody have any thoughts on this?

Inside device configuration menu:
Profile 1 Menu
Primary SIP Server: sip.mweb.net
Apply

No other inputs in this menu.

On FXS Port Menu

SIP User ID: 2787*******
Authenticate ID: Same detail as above
Password: password provided by MWEB

No other inputs. Apply

Did you ever resolve this? I can make and receive calls but it also suddenly started ringing continuously for no reason.

Hi, I have the exact same problem. How did you resolve it?

You are probably getting SIP INVITEs from your open network port 5060 on the Internet. This has to do with how your router is configured. Try a setting to do with SIP ALG.

Thanks for the info. Managed to solve the problem. Was the mweb sip address they gave me was wrong. Talk.mweb.net works.
