Hi everyone,

I would like to pursue the art of digital drawing, and my research so far has recommended I get a graphics tablet.

Can anyone give me advice on what to get, I'm really looking for an entry level , best bang for buck kind of tablet.

I do have an iPad and stylus, but not the pressure sensitive one, so that's not ideal.

Thanks in advance.

I use a Wacom Intuos 3 but I have a few friends who use the Wacom Bamboo. Slightly lower specs than the Intuos range but at a much cheaper price.

There was another brand of tablet that's been making waves recently, but I can't remember the name. I'll try and dig it up for you. Also don't waste your time with Genius. They've gotten better, but from what I've heard they're still not great.

What about a Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1? It's got a Wacom digitizer built-in as well. I'm sure you could pick up a second-hand one for cheap. And how much do the other tablets listed above cost?

Excuse me if I sound ignorant, I know very little about graphics/drawing tablets.

I'm using the Bamboo, and after the 2 days it took getting used to it, I love it. It's an awesome little tablet.

Thanks so much for the great advice. I'll definately be looking at sourcing a Monoprice.

Hi There,
I seem to remember it was through his graphics lecturer.

Let me check. Of course I may have had the name wrong but I know he was talking about that at the time that he purchased it.

Regards
