Graphics card for the build I'm planning

Hey guys, so I'm not sure what graphics card I should get for the build I'm planning to well...build. Should I consider buying secondhand cards or only new cards? This will be a gaming build specifically, I want to run games at 1080p at medium mostly (don't care too much for quality, low is good too if it looks okay). The budget I have for a card is max, R 6000.

9400F seems to be sold out.

3600 is probably your next best bet.

Any reason you're going for an 80mm case fan? Is that all the case supports? If it can take a 120mm, get that instead.

Of the GPUs you listed, the first one is the best one.

Yup, I measured the side panel's gap to put a fan in there. All that fits

So, going secondhand isn't a bad idea? Cause this one guy I know that works in IT Support, when I asked him about buying secondhand cards, he said that from his point of view it isn't a good idea cause they might be cards that were used for mining, etc.

If you're still using a case with a side panel with space for a fan you might want to upgrade it. Cases have come a long way in the last few years, specifically in terms of airflow and thus cooling.

Secondhand is risky, as it is with anything. There's a misunderstanding that cards used for mining are somehow trash and broken. It is true that, set up incorrectly, they do wear a lot quicker due to the heat and specifically the high rate at which the fans are constantly spinning. So there is something to it. But graphics cards usually work or they don't. I saw a video of a 2000 series GPU that had been mined for 3 years. They had before and after benchmarks for it and it was something like 10% slower after 3 years of mining.

Your real risk is, am I getting what was advertised and does it work? If it works, it works. If it doesn't you'll usually find out as soon as you switch on the PC or load the GPU in some way.

I've bought 3 cards second hand, all have worked well. I know others haven't been as fortunate but I think BidOrBuy have a good system for refunds. If so, it's a safe bet.

UPDATE: After deliberating again about all the cards, I'm rather going to go for a new SAPPHIRE PULSE RX 5500 XT 4GB, thx for the help guys!
