I have a Powercolor Radeon HD7950 graphics card. When I open Firefox the images on the webpage and the browser itself appear all messed up. It doesn't seem to happen in games though, but I guess I haven't really played long enough for it to show. I'm pretty sure it's the graphics card because the same thing happend to my Nvidia Geforce 8800GT just before it died. Could anything else be causing this because I've got this card for less than a month now. The temps seem fine, idle is at 34 - 36 degrees celcius and in games it's 62 - 68 degrees celcius.

Sounds like a PSU going to fail, but I could be wrong.

What are the specs of your PSU?

Seasonic 620 Watts 80 Plus Bronze. I doubt it's the PSU.

What does messed up images mean?

How does it look? Does Internet Explorer and Chrome do the same? If not, it's a Firefox issue.

My Powercolor 7950 does the same thing every once and a while, but I don't really see anything when I'm playing games so I just overlook it. I don't have another PSU to try and see if it is that. It's a 700w Coolmaster something lol.

Edit: I use Firefox also.

If it's showing in Firefox when your system is running normally then it sure as heck will happen very quickly when playing a game seeing as that's when the hardware is being pushed.

I think I have a similar issue every now and then, something that looks similar to this? Maybe not quite as extreme?

My hardware is 100% condition so I'm pretty sure it's software related, also using Firefox.

Mine looks exactly like that and it only happens every once in a while too, about 3 times so far I think. I was a bit worried but it's glad to know there are others out there who experience this as well.

Windows 8 64bit too...

Might be a Windows 8 & Firefox & AMD issue.

I'm currently using a Gigabyte Radeon HD7770

Firefox causes my nvidia gtx 460 to freeze my pc with ANY driver OTHER than 275.33, been doing it since forever, so I stick with those drivers. Nvidia nor firefox takes responsibility(nor do they give a rats ass), a few other issues(voltage changes and such) are caused by newer versions of adobe flash. Just thought I would mention it. Firefox sacks nats, I haven't bothered trying another browser for years.

Try turning off 'Use Hardware Acceleration' under advanced options in FF and see if that makes a difference.
