Graphics card that can output to Component?

My tv only has composite and component inputs. I'm connecting my pc to the tv, but I'm not very happy with the quality of composite. I'm looking for a way to connect the pc to component. Any cards that can do this?

I know about a couple of ATI cards where you can use a dvi to component adapter, but I can't find any of the cards or the adapter locally.
 
mine has component out.... ATI X800

It has a little adapter that plugs in the back (similiar to SVID, but not the same), that then has component plugs and a SVID one.

Ok, normally people get confused with composite and component. Composite is just the one plug that connects to the back of your tv. Most cards comes with this adapter, you can use your tv-out on the card for this.

Component is the 3 different plugs. It's the same connectors as composite, but you have 3 plugs for video, instead of just the one you have for composite.

I've never seen a video card with a component out, only dvi to component adapters.

my 9600 also came with the adapter for it.

I know the difference.... and I know what my card has :p I've seen quite a few cards with the adapter these days.

Can you maybe take a picture of what it looks like? I don't want to buy something and then find out it's the wrong thing. According to the ATI site, that card only comes with s-vid and composite cables...

You can have it.... but I first need to find it :p

I recently moved, and 75% of the stuff is still in boxes. :(
 
now that u mention it, i saw lots of svid to component adapters in lots of computer shops.

Coz back then i was looking for svid to composite, so i brought one of those and rewired everything.

Why not get one of those and an svid card?

Think I even saw one at cash crusaders in clearwaters....or something

Why would they make SVID to component ? As far as I know component is better than SVID ? Maybe wrong... Suppose it depends what you going to use it for and if your TV can take SVID.
HDMI, DVI-D , VGA, COMPONENT, SVID, COMPOSITE, RF .. too many formats :)

You're correct.... Component > SVID > Composite
 
no luck... My girlfriend told me she threw away all the 'empty' boxes... which included the graphics card's box... I think it might have still been in there :(
 
Ok, so I'm still looking for either an s-video to component, or dvi to component adapter. Anyone have one that they want to sell?
