Gravity

Was brilliant on the Groot Wit Doek.
I thought Sandra was perfect playing her character. Clooney was not the right person for his role imh.

I thoroughly enjoyed it, didn't know what to expect. It's not all action all the way, but it kept me gripped to my seat for the whole movie.

I will definitely recommend it

I thought that is was a brilliant, beautiful piece on the fragility of human existence, when placed within the context of the universe.

Not to mention featuring the best 3d special effects of any movie ever, and the biggest advance in science fiction cinematography since 2001.

I can't rhapsodize quite so much about the plot or the characters but I also wouldn't use that as an excuse to slam the movie.

The main thing that got my admiration was the cinematography. Some of those scenes were so powerful.

Agreed.

To be fair- the story didn't quite enthrall me, initially. It sort of sunk in a few days after I had watched the movie.

This.
Unbroken opening shot is like 20 minutes of sheer movie making skill

Movie lives up to its title and then some.

Didn't feel Bullock and Clooney were right for roles though but damn she looks good for 40+.

Simple concept executed brilliantly. Was nice to see something different for a change.
