Great service from Telkom?

Yesterday my ADSL went out during a big thunderstorm, after about 2 hours I logged a fault with them and just 20min after the fault being logged I recieved a call informing me that they had found the problem. This was around 8pm last night.

The exchange was damaged during the storm it seems and the whole area was out.

They kept me informed of the progress via SMS and about 15min ago all was well again.

Big thanks goes out to telkom. When I called them I sort of expected to get no response it being December and so close to Christmas.

Step in the right direction I think.

It's not perfect yet but it is one hell of an improvement over what I was used to.
 
They definitely are improving lately, trying to sort themselves out before Neotel's arrival I guess.

Are you sure you not a telkom employee just to up the telkom moral?
A name like Steamroller smells allot like Telkom because that is what they are doing to their customers

I am sure some people are from Telkom and are trying to up Telkom's image as there is suddenly too much Telkom Good talk on these forums.

It got be to believe Closer 4 is the way to go.
