We have to look at history in order to rectify the future, we don't want to make the same mistakes again.
I am not living in the past, I am merely giving my opinion of why i think it is the way it is. Basically what you're saying right now is that africa's history has no correlation as to how it became as corrupt as it is now. All of a sudden out of nowhere every black leader is corrupt in the here and now and it has nothing to do with the past? That's not a very homogenous outlook.
it does have correlation to some extent, perhaps, but that doesnt remove the fact that responsibility needs to be taken NOW by the leaders who are currently cocking it up
bottom line is that you cant excuse digging your hand into the cookie jar and taking as many as you can carry, because the previous person did the same thing. guess that kind of responsibility comes with being an adult
