Greenlab closing down

I tried to go to www.greenlab.co.za and it redirects me to:

Forbidden

You don't have permission to access / on this server.

Additionally, a 403 Forbidden error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

Maybe they really have closed down :)

Well I am disappointed. The GL community was always fun friendly and helpful to all members even if they were utter noobs. Shame that you fools dis them when you did not even know them.

I for one surely misses the occasional rant :(

PS I have been a member for quite some time now and I never had to make a donation so get your facts right.

lol all this stuff about farm vs greenlab vs ninja.. look at stats :) there is a clear winner :) oh and BTW we dont need GL members to come over.. we just want them to realise what they have missed out on. but the more torrent sites the better as its there to assist the community.

PS each site has their own pro's and con's .. everyone for themselves

I've never been able to get into any of these things although I've tried ... not sure how to get invited or what not :P ... so I just use international torrents ... its not like I have local bandwidth anyway with my stupid iBurst. But I'd like me friend to get in ... he's got 30gb local :(

So will i be able to get an invite david ?

Life after Green lab ain't that much fun - I now spend my bandwidth on Mininova and Demonoid.
Oh yeah, I don't want an invite to BitFarm, from the type of comments that they have been passing I would not like to be associated with them...
 
I joined Greenlab a few months ago. I got the forbidden message as well and a re-direction to Opentracker in July. The admin of Greenlab said on Opentrackers blogs that their "server hosting company" closed them down. At that stage they were looking for another hosting company. I dont know what happened afterwards cause Opentracker has got the same message now
 
Yeah, pretty effing sad!

I hope they get it back up and running some time this year... :(
 
They seem completely gone, but there is a new Torrent Tracker, see my signature ;)

When I clicked on the link in your sig I get:
