I only travelled with Greyhound and Intercape in 1990 when I finished school in December
Took a Greyhound from Cape Town --> Jhb, beautiful experience, smooth and fast
Then took a train and car down to PE
From PE --> Cape Town the Intercape bus, it was average and slowish.

Loved the Greyhound experience. This was 31 years ago

I remember being in a taxi. I open the window but person behind me complains. Then a women changed her baby's pampas on my brand new R500+ bag. Imagine

Intercape doesn't do that. I payed 310 on Friday. Taxi is 260

Fifty bucks to buy your sanity, away from her unsanitary manners.

Shutting down likely saved it in the long run. Just passed one today and thought... Huh? Thought it had left our shores.

Check their Facebook page. Lots of people complaining that they book Greyhound but when they get to the station they have to board an Eldo Coaches bus.
