Anyway, got my copy in my hands and a notification that the games I ordered from Play-Asia are here too. Time to pay a visit to the post office after work. 4 new games in one day....not bad

I received mine from the post office yesterday! Just a little question: Are the seals on the covers supposed to be broken, even when the games were still wrapped in plastic? Is this normal for games ordered from Kalahari / Ster-Kinekor?

I also wondered about that, seal was broken but still wraped in plastic. But hey game is working 100%, and I did check for scratches when I noticed it.

Me as well. Both Grid and UT3's seals were broken, but the discs seem scratch-free. Haven't tested them though... Will probably have time to test it out this weekend (if I'm not studying, that is

I suspect SK is sending us resealed stock that was returned by another retailer that ordered too much over Xmas and who opened the packaging to insert magnetic tags or to store the discs seperately -- I will pull some units from the warehouse and investigate.
Let me know if there are any issues with the items with broken seals

Nothing that nefarious -- I've bought in stock so that we can ship in 24hrs and now that its arrived the promotion we're running on all 24hr Delivery Games is kicking in...

My copy of GRiD was unsealed and the game disc was loose in the cover. It seems to have picked up a few small scratches. Not going to be happy if the game is unplayableMe as well. Its a problem with the Amray case design -- we check that there are no loose discs before we ship but sometimes they shake loose in transit.
If there are any problems pop the customer services guys a mail and we'll collect and ship another copy to you

Must admit, of the last 10 games I have bought at various places, about 6 of them have had loose discs. The ones that were not loose had cases that held the Disc so tight you almost had to grind the box away to get it to release.

Thanks am_nesia. Good to know we have some board presence here. Also good to hear about the (possible) good customer service. Kalahari hasn't disappointed me yet! (except cancelling The Sound of Music on DVD from my order... the missus was VERY upset! )
