Such a great display yesterday. Well worth heading out there to Ysterplaat. Really nice to see our Gripen C up in the air. SAAF museum also really good. Mirage F1 CZ, Mirage III RZ, Buccaneer, Sabre, Impala etc. We had one hell on an airforce back in the day.

GF and I flew in yesterday for the show. Blue and white Piper Arrow parked on the apron close to the tower. Applied for clearance a few weeks back and only received it on Friday. Really enjoyed the show but it was nerve-wracking flying into a military base with all the activity goin on and yes, I duffed my landing a bit and floated down the runway for what felt like an eternity if any of you were there to witness it Flying out was awesome, but no Avgas was available so had to refuel in Stellenbosch before heading home.

Had just headed out for a run after 9am and wasn't feeling it. It was hot, windy and the legs were heavy. But then, a growing rumble turned into a shriek, which turned into a roar, and that sound. That glorious sound. It is enough to motivate one.
