Gripens over Cape Town

Heard something fly over about half an hour ago, couldn't see anything though.

That’s twice now that I could tell my gf that I can stay up longer than a Gripen.
 
Such a great display yesterday. Well worth heading out there to Ysterplaat. Really nice to see our Gripen C up in the air. SAAF museum also really good. Mirage F1 CZ, Mirage III RZ, Buccaneer, Sabre, Impala etc. We had one hell on an airforce back in the day.
 
GF and I flew in yesterday for the show. Blue and white Piper Arrow parked on the apron close to the tower. Applied for clearance a few weeks back and only received it on Friday. Really enjoyed the show but it was nerve-wracking flying into a military base with all the activity goin on and yes, I duffed my landing a bit and floated down the runway for what felt like an eternity if any of you were there to witness it :X3: Flying out was awesome, but no Avgas was available so had to refuel in Stellenbosch before heading home.

Super cool! Must have been amazing.
 
Had just headed out for a run after 9am and wasn't feeling it. It was hot, windy and the legs were heavy. But then, a growing rumble turned into a shriek, which turned into a roar, and that sound. That glorious sound. It is enough to motivate one.
 
Any ideas on the jet that just flew over canal walk area?
