Grocery Delivery Voucher Thread

So pissed off with new PnP app. They reserve amounts for out of stock but only release the refund almost 2 months later. That is 2 months where they can get interest and I have to track weekly if it has it be refunded or not which takes a lot of effort
Tried getting the bank to release it earlier but they are useless.
Worst thing is there is zero transaction tracking to show the refund was credited. They just cancel the original transaction deduction that happened 2 months prior. That is not how bank transactions supposed to work.
Not I just moved to another store. Tired of PnP's crap.

I placed an order on the new app yesterday and one of the items was out of stock - they didn't charge me for it

varies based on you bank's support as some bank will refund reservations immediately.

no refund, they didn't charge me for it
Yeah the issue is they do it so quick when you look at the original transaction you see you are not charged for it i.e. instant. No separate credit transaction. Mine is the same except it occurs 2 months later instead of instant i.e. the reserved amount reserves it for 2 months so my bank balance shows zero but should actually be R500.
Then 2 months later the original transaction suddenly shows correct amount and my balance shows correct. However in the meantime I could not spend the R500 for 2 months even though technically it is in my bank account.
I notice it specifically as I keep my bank balance close to zero.

...who do you bank with?

Yeah because it sounds like a bank issue. Uber does the same and with Tyme Bank the reversal is pretty quick.

Seems like PnP is no longer sending codes for the old app.

New app codes:
WELCOME2531 - R50 off
TAPFRESH - free delivery

Both codes can be used together

SAVE2450

R250 OFF PNP on MR D
Minimum order R450
First 100 customers

This one might expire fast, was still working @ 13:45
Hi Intox
I'm replying 2 years + 3 months after your post.
I'm sitting here literally GOBSMACKED at the amount of vouchers being shared. Please, if I may ask you, where do you get these from? And are there any for current use ?
Thanks !

There used to be a lot of vouchers from ASAP and Mr D app notifications but it has mostly dried up, vouchers other than just free delivery are rare now.
On the new PNP ASAP app you can use TAPFRESH for free delivery that's the only one im aware of that is still working today.

If it ain't broke, don't fix it...

I placed an order on the new ASAP app today and one of my items was out of stock.
I logged into my bank and saw I was charged in full.

What happens now?
Why don't they have a wallet for refunds like the old app?

I'm still sitting with a wallet credit on the old app but there are no more free delivery codes for this app.

Now if they had a wallet on the new app surely they could sync this credit across...?

The proper amount will come off in a few days time.

They reverse the old amount and charge the new amount. The problem some banks take a while to do this. I wonder if it's not their payment processor actually rather than banks. Sometimes on my tymebank it takes 2 hours the longest I waited was next day.
