You should be referring to Nespresso pods. After spending thousands of Rands on pods, one day I finally realised I prefer Nescafe Gold more. My Nespresso machine is now a counter top ornoment :-? Nespresso is all hype and not worth the R9 per small cup, IMO.

Pods and instant coffee...same same.

Nothing beats freshly ground beans.

If you blind test me with Douwe Egberts "Pure Indulgence" and any other coffee, I'll pick the Douwe Egberts one. It's by far my favourite.

Nespresso defninately tastes better (For me, personally), but i agree its not worth R9 a pod, the cheap ass pods on takealot also does not work correctly.

There is a very clear taste difference between Douwe Egbert and any other brand. Jacobs and Nescafe will be more difficult to distinguish

yeah but just make sure that they write down as well sometimes the added discount

i wanted something and they didnt have stock, teh system price was the special price of R25

think if you used a dischem card or something you get an extra R2 off and the rain cheque didnt mention that so i asked the manager to add that in her writing

Any other recommended flavors of Douwe Egberts folks? I love their decaf in the evenings. Will try the pure indulgence again next time too. I didn't enjoy it as much as Jacobs the last time I tried it.
