Yeah, true that. Doritos are touching R20 a bag at most places now.

I really wish checkers would get in trouble for this, they often have a big save sign, on something that simply isn't even a special...Regularly happens with UHT milk and I've even seen it on an item in the liquorshop.

Pick n Pay at the new Ferndale on Republic (old Brightwater Commons) has got some insane vegetable prices. Not specials as such, but I've not seen these prices at any other Pick n Pay. It's a franchise, so I think they do their own deals with local suppliers.
Mushrooms: R15 per 250g punnet
Broccoli: R3.99 per head
Brinjals: R7 for a 2-pack (approx 500g total)
Baby Marrows: R7 per pack (approx 500g per pack)
Chopped spinach: R5 per R250g packet
Tomatoes: R8 for a 1kg bag, or R5 for a 6-pack (approx 750g).
And if you're on Discovery Vitality, you can knock 25% off those prices.

Checkers has a special on Duracell AA and AAA batteries for a pack of 12 for R79.99 if you buy them with their
new Checkers card. Their normal price is R119.99.

That is a good price.I usually buy the Dischem brand,DQuip 6 for R30

Btw the Dischem brand of batteries are decent.
 
Nairsons Factory shop Centurion. They make their own dairy flavored drinks. R12.50 for 2l and R4.90 for 500ml. Not bad at all. Not as concentrated as Tropika but quite nice. Tropika can get very sugary and concentrated. I like this and for R12.50 you can't complain. They have like 8 flavours. Oragne, Pinapple, Guava, Granadilla, mango, Mango and Peach, Mango, Tropical

They are right next to BCX and right next to Centurion Mall parking entrance. Same street where all the Taxis park at Centurion mall.

They are a factory shop that make their own concentrated daily beverages. So they sell the dairy mix similar to tropika that needs to be refrigerated and then the concentrate you just add water too like fusion. They seem to sell frozen flavours too. They manufacture their own so this is where they sell to the public thats why it's so cheap.
 
Do they have any fresh squeezed juices or raw juices there that needs to be kept cold?
 
PicknPay has spaghetti 500g packets for R8.99 when you swipe your smartshopper card.

Lots of bonus points too like 100 bonus points when buying Monster Energy drinks.
