Grocery Specials Thread

Some bladdy good specials there

It was busy but there was a lot of stock. They just push out trolleys of produce everywhere and it was decent. I got myself a lot of decent fruit and veg.

Not really suitable for Indian vegetarian style of cooking. It was not my choice to buy it though. :-(
Thus nothing wrong with the product...

PNP ASAP has half lamb packs for R99/kg (kicking myself as I bought a lamb on Thursday for R120/kg)

Hence the "I regret this purchase". If product was crappy, I would have said "Product is not good and it does nothing etc.."

English I think.

From experience, most of these lamb packs on special at supermarkets are Mutton and not lamb. Still taste good, but more for stews, not always very tender. Also they remove most of the expensive cuts and you get more of the cheap cuts.

True, the wife also pointed out that she wouldn't order it on ASAP - may be worthwhile if you could go instore and pick a pack to make sure the chops look good at least.

Just stopped at my local PNP, they have the stock in store, no asap stuffs needed

only had 2 packs, but R99/kg!
Yeah on asap it's showing you need to order 999 worth
