Not really racist since I have witnessed this behaviour first hand in the Eastern Cape in 80's, 90's and 2000. this livestock butchering is not a new thing, my mother in her 80's told me stories from the 1950's when this was done in the old Rhodesian days

In the late 70's as a schoolboy I was riding with a R1 on the back of a bakkie, patrolling looking after our farm. My dad was called up for commando duty. Savages decided to start burning farms. The orders were to shoot if somebody dared doing something wrong on the farm (this happened two farms away). Our farm was bordering the homelands. Certain people were coming from there through the kloofies in the hills at night.

The thing that was so sad is that it was certain distinct elements. Not the normal people trying to live their lives. This included the farm workers. In the article we also see it:

I agree. Then we see the cheap baiting here by some.

Unfortunately this resonates with me. How do you fell having to shoot cattle that were maimed. Or see your possessions burnt down - just for some malicious agenda.

The attack on Thursday night took place hours after an urgent court interdict was obtained from the Pietermaritzburg High Court.

Anderson said there was a delay in serving the interdict to the attackers because police needed back-up. He said it was only formally issued on Friday.

Anderson was a better man than me. If I knew this was coming, I'd done my duty and the cops are delayed due to crap like this, they might as well send ambulances rather, plenty of ambulances.

There is a trend happening with this sort of thing, criminals are going around targeting large companies and threatening to shut them down in return for contracts or money, if they refuse they are met with protesters causing havoc under the guise of some false claim , in this case the fact they employ 6 zimbo's.
