Receiving a MMS involves two parts.

- First your phone receives a SMS telling the phone there's a MMS waiting.
- The phone will then connect to the MMS apn (the apn you've configured in the MMS settings) and download the MMS.

Sounds like in your case the phone got the SMS but somehow cannot connect to the MMS apn. So it keeps retrying.

Check your MMS apn settings and test by sending and receiving a MMS from another number.

I've seen the TyTN not automatically connect to the MMS apn. When you receive a MMS, it'll ask you to connect to the MMS apn and if you're already connected to the INTERNET apn, you have to click OK.

If the phone is trying to download the MMS over the INTERNET apn, it obviously won't work. Again, check your MMS settings. MMS apn should be mms.vodacom.net (if on Vodacom)
