GSM610 Codec

Anyone else having this problem with trying to play .wav files and cannot do so without the correct codec installed - more specifically the DataFusion Systems GSM610 (86) codec error? Anyone experience this?
I cannot find this codec anywhere !!! Tried the Microsoft GSM610 (86) codec which is pre-installed on the systems but it does not play with that codec version - wants the Data Fusion codec...Eish

Windows Media Player cannot play the file (or cannot play either the audio or video portion of the file) because the DataFusion Systems GSM610 (86) codec is not installed on your computer.

any luck on this cause i have same issue from some wav files I was sent from my insurance to listen to...

I'm guessing no, but any luck with this codec? The Datafusion company doesn't seem to exist anymore, but someone must have the software still floating around.
