GSP navigation samsung galaxy tab

I just got the galaxy tab from MTN and I am having a problem with the GSP navigation. I called samsung and they told me about an upgrade they are waiting for, andriod 2.3. is any one els having the same problem?

No, it keeps on searching for satellite and hangs there.

In all honesty. It just a cra+ gps.
Tryresetting the phone. Oh, and it might sound stupidm but check that your gps is actually on. Finally check your settings.

That's strange, because the tracking on my Galaxy S is very accurate. Works much better than Nokia N97 OVI maps navigation (which I had before I changed to the Galaxy S).

My SGT get GPS signal without any issues.

which softwear are you using. im using the default samsung navigator applacation.

Get the GPS Status app from market, install. Update it. Get lock in 30 secs.

Google Maps 5 (with vector graphics!).

It finds my location when using things like Layar as well though.
