GT 5 for Xbox 360???

Lol ....

Dude, you seemed so excited, i almost felt bad .................... almost :D

Slightly off topic, just slap me if you think so ;)

But who else is a bit put off by the whole Prologue thing? Sure if you're a GT5 nut you'll want it, but how many saps are going to fork out good money expecting "GT5" when what they're going to get is a very nice extended tech demo? It's basically an open beta for some of the GT5 features and they're making it out like it's the real deal.

Doobi, every GT has had a prologue since no3.
Im torn over the matter. While I wouldnt call it a demo, I still dont think I could ever purchase it, whats the point of a game that will be completely usurped by another a little down the line? Having said that it is GT and we all know the crowds that it pulls and there isnt exactly many driving games available for the ps3 right now. Watch Prologue go platinum and then watch GT5 go multi platinum!

I'm sure they will, but I'd rather people went out and had a look at GriD.

Codemasters make excellent racing games, far more deserving of peoples cash.

To say Grid is far more deserving is unfair, thats personal opinion and yours! GT has long been the bench mark in driving games and I think we can all agree that the new one wont dissapoint.
Although I do feel its about time they added a damage model!

but you must remember that GT has been the bench mark because of the measures the makers go to. I mean, even the tracks, they might not look great, but every bump (or as close to every bump) is put in them. the cars are test driven a couple of times and then only put in the game. they really pull out all the stops in GT. It's does what it says, it simulates driving. Yes there are other games, which possible have better driving playablity but the thing is GT was never meant to be that game that is fun and is filled with nice features. It was always meant to be as real as possible, which means that some won't like it, but as it turns out many do like it.
:D

Well Forza is the same really, and while I do enjoy that sort of thing, it gets a bit sterile after a while is all I'm saying. I just think GRiD looks like it's taking a more fun refreshing approach to "sim racing", that's all.

Anyway, I see they released the car list and tracks etc for Prologue, and I guess it's not that bad. It's a fair bit of content for what you pay.
