Why... thats easy.... I've PLAYED Forza 3 and seen what it looks like... and I've seen the videos of GT5... GT5 is not a quantum leap over Forza 3, if anything they're roughly on a par visually.

I saw that link while I googled a bit, but I can't reach the site via any of my pc's. Do you need to connect via a PS3?

I get a "Server connect error" or the site be to busy or FF needs firewall to give access. I have tried to reach the site over the last 3 days with out any luck.

GT5 is a quantum leap over forza!! And also visuals are not the only thing that makes a sim. The reason why forza sucks is because of its physics imo.

Whats wrong with Forza 3's physics? and how do you know that GT5's are better since the game isn't released yet?

In a game like this, the big draw card is the visuals...

GT5 370z demo has been released months ago. The physics that are in the demo will be in the full game(maybe a few minor changes). Still, even GT5P's physics are better than forza 3's
 
OMG. Fanboys.

Forza 3 is an amazing racer for the 360, or any console for that matter, probably the best "sim" out on console ATM, easy. GT5 will no doubt be a lot of fun too. Maybe better than FM3, maybe a bit worse. Shame?

But honestly, if you are so into sims, get a racing sim on the PC. There will never be a 100% true racing sim on any console just like how you won't find a flight sim on console.

Same question applies to You, How do YOU know anything about GT5 apart of the few viewed "videos" You "compared". have you even played GT5P ever?.

Now that makes you the GT5 exspert? What resolution was the "videos" (Utube?), was itplayable demos? did you ever compare apples with apples. I doubt, its that old fanboy niche talking AGAIN. Remember the cell arguments?. Bwahahaha.

PS: The OP asked about GT5 V GT5P. So all Xbox fannies scram, as you know nothing.

I have tried pc sims while waiting for GT5 to come out. Believe me their physics are on top but they lack in every other department. They are a nightmare to get running properly and there will always be a new problem(with pc games). console racing sims tick all the boxes(GT5 does at least)
I am not a fanboy......I prefer GT5 Aficionado;)

If you are new to PC and it's hardware, then that is true.

Fact is, games like GTR2 on PC are proper racing sims, comparable to a flight simulator on the PC as far as details go. Unfortunately they don't release many race sims so you are stuck with "old graphics" for quite some time. Not that gfx should be an issue for a sim player.

I am not new to pc games and stuff, just never been good with it, but GTR2 is the one game that works properly , It is such an awesome game, its far behind gt5 in graphics but the physics are great so still play it .Its a very good game

If you'll notice.. I'm only comparing visuals here... aka, the ONLY thing people can compare with any certainty since GT5 isn't out..

The videos I've watched were either at 720p or 1080p, and claimed to be IN Game visuals.... GT5 doesn't look like its a quantum leap over FM3...

I have a PS3, and an Xbox... I have FM3.. I will be buying GT5... so take your pathetic fanboi comment and find the nearest cliff. I buy and play games that appeal to me, and GT5 appeals to me but I don't for one second believe your pathetic fanboi crap, or the hype that people seem to be trying to surround the GT5 with. It will be good, of that there is no doubt, but it is not the be all and end all of racing games.
 
It's always strange to me that these threads turn out PS3 vs Xbox.........
Now the thread is about "GT5 Prologue vs GT5?"

Simple answer, we do not know yet, as the full GT5 is not out. But hopefully it will be released in November 2010, and then the praise/bashing can really start.

As for now, I am still playing prologue every now and then. But my GT5 is already on pre-order :D
 
So lets wait for GT5 to be released in November!

We'll start a new thread: GT5 vs FM3 and compare.

Lets not comment any further on this topic until then.
