WHY DELAY PC!!!!!

My theory is this. PC has a higher piracy rate than console, so they will want to milk the console gamers first and get as much money as possible before the PC release.

Glad I have a PS4 now :D Roll on the 18th, I think I'm going to put a couple of days leave in now.

Would you play the same game on both?

No. how is this relevant?

They delayed the PC version hoping people that have a console and gaming PC get it on console instead of waiting a month and pirating on PC.

If they released both same day, the people with console and gaming pc may choose to pirate it instead.

How is it relevant? Read the comment you replied to again. It's specifically about people being idiots for buying the same game on all the different platforms. Your comment now is a non sequitur in that context.

But would someone who has been waiting for more than a year already not be able to wait 2 months more if they were intent on pirating it?

Not at all. Have enough backlogged games I still have to play.

Finished GTA V on Xbox already though, still need to do all the extra activities and races and such.

145 hours since gta online launched after a month or so then sold ps3 and upgraded pc (aka passport) to enter the master race.

I still play gta 5 on my friends ps3 + 56 inch plasma. that loading time though.....

gonna buy it purely for online. Done everything else.

THIS IS THE GAME TO OWN ! LEGIT! (requires friends and an active group to play with for good experience)

I did pretty much all there was to do with GTA V on PS3. Finished single player twice and rank 111 in GTA Online with $15m and two apartments filled with the most expensive cars. I've since sold my PS3 and PS3 games. I'll definitely be picking up GTA V for PC at some point for the enhancements and mods (and I'm glad Rockstar has confirmed that GTA Online progress is transferred to next-gen platforms), but not at launch with an RRP of R799. No PC game is worth that much, especially one I've already played. Maybe in the 2015 Steam Summer Sale if it's at least 50% off.

Some games are worth more than others. This game will still sell for R799 on PC. Even at R799 it is still a lot of value for money compared to other games.
