GTA IV breaks records

It's a great record but it's overshadowed a bit by the fact the game costs about ten times more than a movie ticket.

Please, for the love of God Take-Two, DO NOT let yourselves get bought out by EA. They will destroy everything you have ever loved, just as they have destroyed every other decent game series they have bought out.

I agree. UEFA Euro 2000, 2004, 2008. Exactly what EA is all about. Making the most money. They'll destroy the GTA franchise.

Sony should thank Take2/GTA, because I'm going to buy a PS3 now, especially for GTA IV.

I think the fact that the game is so expensive makes it even more amazing. Especially with world economic conditions....that so many people will still spend so much on a game...amazing I think...

It's not a game! It's a living, breathing world!

:D Seriously though, it's worth every cent.

I am enjoying it - got my copy this week for the PS3... still getting a feel for the game - have not played any GTA before.

All i can say is that we get ripped off here... I got the game in Hong Kong last week for R450.. Almost half the price of some places here in sa... WTF...

kewl game btw..

by the gods i want to play it !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

....guess its time for console then somewhere down the line

you dont want to know how much $ i have spent to play this game, just walking around the city in such detail makes me think its worth it.

Apparently it cost $100,000,00USD to produce. The most expensive movie ever made was $300,000,000USD (Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End)
