GTA: IV Progress reports

Without spoiling,

You get it after a few missions on the 2nd island (not Bohan, same island as my previous post)
 
/me found a frikkin glowing pigeon .... shot it and was informed that there are many more of these flying rats in the city ..... fsckin cool :D
 
38% through the story now .....

The effect is starting to fade a bit now (thank goodness), finally picked up my guitar after a week and a bit of neglect and man are my fingers stiff ;)
 
Sheesh. I've been trying to belt through the story missions to get the "completed in under 30 hour" achievement..

There is no way I'm going to make it if the game keeps up at the pace it's going! I'm consciously trying to avoid side missions, but I've gotten to what can only be considered as one of many watersheds in the game and it's "WTF which ones the thread!?!".

Congrats to Rockstar on crafting more than a story. In fact, if EA does get around to buying Take2 they could rebrand GTA4: "The Sims - Criminal Carnage" ;)

True.

I'm 48% complete, 24hours in, with 50/94 missions done. Doubt theres hope for me to get "Libery City Minute", but ill keep racing till i finish the story, then collect everything :)
 
Only about 10%, need to take a day off work to catch up..
 
48% in ..... man this game consumes hours :D How many of you guys are gonna go through it a second time right after you finish?
 
Not a chance! There are too many other awesome games out in the near future.

Although I do want to know how the game would be different based on some of the decisions I've made.

Since i'm a GSW in training, ill play thru the story again for the achievement, but thats once i've done everything (100%) else on my first play thru!
 
stuck at 10%

just finished Ivan the not so terrible however have not received any work since(I killed the guy)-any ideas
 
Man .......... 9 hours spent looking solely for those flying rats and what is the outcome? ......... 11 of the fsckers! Where the fsck are those other 100 and whatever :confused:
