GTA V Online Question

Hey guys n gals,

Anyone here playing GTA V Online on the Xbox 360? I assume PS3/4 and Xbox One players wouldn't be put into the same lobby/session as someone who's playing on Xbox 360 and vice versa or am i wrong?

Also, I had a Special Carbine which was customized and suddenly last night when i went on to play, my gun is just magically gone!!! I've spent close to (probably) R90k on that fsking thing! Extended Clip, Supressor, scope, flashlight, black/orange tint etc... Anyone know of a bug or problem with this atm?

Only Rank24 so still fairly new to GTA V Online but thoroughly enjoying it!
 
Xbox Live and PSN are 2 totally separate entities.
It's not the first time I've heard of ppl loosing stuff.

I'm not playing GTA:O atm, but I'm currently rank 111 with around $20m. My apartments, weapons and vehicles must have cost me between $30 and 40m.

You most definitely cannot play with anyone not on your own platform.

Hahaha, thanks for the welcome :) If i could play as often as i'd like i would be a much higher level.
Yea understood about PSN and Xbox Live, makes sense, but does that mean a person with Xbox One could play with someone who is using a 360?

Xbox live for 360 is different to xbox live for xbox one.

You can't play across generations, because the current gen GTA V and GTA Online are almost different games. Vastly improved environments, new wildlife, new cars, new guns, new animations, new activities etc.

How do you actually earn that much money? Im quite a low level but doing races and that crap only earns peanuts.

It used to be easier to earn money when the game first released. You can't earn anywhere close to that kind of money any more. Rockstar kept nerfing the payouts as the months progressed, to the point where there was a mass exodus of players, including me.
 
While we on-topic where do you go to do those weird races that Inside Gaming usually do? I don't know were to go.
