Guess that car

After the beautiful D Type Jaguar we have to stay with the Brits and ask "Where were you in 52?"

Armstrong Siddeley Sapphire?

Model to follow... googling as I type.

Edit: Model 346...
The 346 was the first of the Sapphires introduced late in 1952 for sale in 1953 and continuing until 1958. The six-cylinder 3,435 cc engine had hemi-spherical combustion chambers and could have optional twin Stromberg carburettors (£25 extra)[3] which increased the output from 125 to 150 bhp (93 to 112 kW) giving a top speed in excess of 100 mph (161 km/h). The front suspension was independent coil springs with a rigid axle and leaf springs at the rear. The Girling hydraulic brakes used 11 in (279 mm) drums all round.[3]
Beautiful, but a bit of a deathtrap :)

Since I'm off to make dinner for the offspring and SO, and I'm absolutely sure that I'm right, I'm going to post my pic. (If I'm not correct, just disregard this post).

Here we go:

Now THAT is interesting...is that a BMW badge I see??? Couldn't be!!

The grill does not look like it's from BMW, they had the kidney grills on most of their vehicles except the very early ones. That car looks like something from the WWII era during which time bmw did not build any cars and prior/after that they had kidney shaped grills.
