Guild Wars.....Player list

Ye, it's all good.
GW is bandwidth- and latency-friendly.

Time will tell what GW2 will need, I think it's gonna be more bandwidth hungry with all the changes they have in mind.

Mira Renais Lv20 Ranger
(Hurray for Rangers!)
I think its about time I added myself here, Ehehehe.

And lets hope its not too bandwidth hungry, I want to be able to play GW2.
(Or too spec hungry either.. My poor old computer..)

Been playing Guild Wars since it first came out, but had to stop because it was interfering with my Uni studies :p

I've since deleted my old characters, but I thought I'd list them here for the hell of it :D
Spectral Reaver - 20 N/Mo - Finished the entire Prophecies, including all bonus missions and Sorrow's Furnace
Karis Bladesinger - 20 W/Mo - Ring Of Fire
Sephrenia Holyhands - 19 Mo/Me - Crystal Desert

I had a thing for playing female characters, but I've grown out of that :p

My current character is Sieben Holyhands - 11 Mo/Me - Nolani Academy. Got to love Wenslauss' Faith from Sorrow's Furnace though :p

I have other minor characters in Factions and Nightfall too, but am holding out playing them until I finish Prophecies again :)

Hey I would be:

R/M Gargmel Windchaser Lvl 20
E/A Gargmel Smurfeater Lvl 20
W/M Gargmel Swordbane Lvl 20
D/A Gargmel Harikiri Lvl 20

W/M Glordit Blademaster lvl 16
E/M Glordit Adonis lvl 15

as soon I get a good build in will try out a R/Rt & a Me/M :D c yall online!!

hey guys

Prophecies: Voicy Lvl 10 guy with a bow
Nightfall: Yomah_Sahara lvl 10 black dude working the crops.

I havent played for quite a while - so there's still a bumload of stuff for me to explore :/

I'm thinking of getting GW soon. Any suggestions on which expansion first? ( Can't get all of them at once :\ )

I recommend getting Nightfall and taking your character(s) into Eye of the North. By then, GW2 should be out and you'll never come anywhere close to Prophecies and Factions. If you really want to play everything, Prophecies and Factions are sold in a combo-pack

:p just have to get GWEN and my collection is complete!!

IMO Nightfall is the best makes it 100times easier with hero's Factions was basicaly for AB and Preophecies is loooooong! ;)

yea i got nightfall today, plus a new rig so I'll probably be playing later on tonight/tomorrow

Yea I started playing friday night. I am monk/ranger lvl 12 atm :P Oh and does anyone have any suggestions for monk armour? I got really rubbish one on, the one you start off with :P

Hey, I got Nighfall Sunday morning, started a Dervish/Monk, got him some standard armor with runes and a gold scythe, and man, does he rock... I hit for 118 dmg on a crit without using a skill :p nice since he was only level 7, he is at lvl11 atm and just made first spear... cant wait to get home /o\ oh noes, i'm addicted...

BWahahaha Your not the only one addicted :D Now I'm still looking for some awesome looking armour with the hoodie.. :p

I've started playing again as of earlier this month.

I'd like to start gw again...

played it ages ago (back when Prophecies was new), i amassed sumthing like 400plat :D (troll farming outside Droks ftw) then got sucked into WOW

after readin thru this thread, Nightfall would be the best? which build is nice 4 soloing? I might buy Factions and Prophecies again (sadly i cant remember my old acc details), i rly loved the orginal content

I agree that NF is the best way to start again. You need a lvl20 char to get into the recent Eye of the North expansion.

Nightfall is so much better than Prophecies, it's easier to make gold, level up and you have heroes that can get custom weapons and you can upgrade their armor later on :D

I have a Dervish character and I use the Invincible Monk setup to solo farm bosses, its difficult though because of all the spells the Devs put on creatures to counter the 130hp Dervish and 50hp Monk... I am now working on another solo Dervish setup, but must get to the Mouth of Torment first to get the skills :(

There are some wicked clips you can find with Google for solo setups. The best one I've seen so far is an E/Mo that uses AoE spells and has one insane tank on her! But I don't want to start a new character now again lol, my Dervish kicks butt!

As for the account details, did you buy online or in store? If its in store, contact the Devs and give some info there, I forgot my details but managed to get them back with the help of the PlayNC guys!
